About the author Raúl Criollo (Xalapa, Veracruz, 1972) studied communication The University of Veracruz, while also writing his own column about film for the Diario de Xalapa. He went on to study filmmaking in Mexico City and began producing short films and ads. He has worked in multiple film productions, and conducted research at the National Film Archive. José Xavier Návar (Mexico City, 1947) graduated from National School of Fine Arts and Political Social Sciences at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He has been a cartoonist, publicist, press officer for several record labels, producer and manager of rock groups, and professor at the Mexico City Valley University. He writes a column in the entertainment section of El Universal. Rafael Aviña (Mexico City, 1959) studied communication at the Metropolitan Autonomous University and was part of the creative writing program of the General Society of Writers of Mexico. He is a film, video and criminal critic in diverse media. He has been a researcher at the National Film Archive, director of the Film Club of the National Institute of Fine Arts, member of the Academic Council of the Film Library at unam and the National Museum of Art. He won the first place in the Magdalena Mondragón Short Story Contest.
