About the author Juan Villoro (Mexico City, 1956) has been a lecturer at unam and a visiting professor at the universities of Yale, Boston and Pompeu Fabra, the latter in Barcelona. He is a columnist for Reforma (Mexico), El periódico de Catalunya (Spain) and El mercurio (Chile). He has translated books by Graham Greene, Truman Capote, Arthur Schnitzler, Georg Christoph Lichtenberg and Georg von Rezzori.
