He is one of the few renowned men who proclaim what they know, rich in his speech and pondered in his ideas” Juan de Linza About the author Victoriano Salado Álvarez (Tecocaltiche, Jalisco, 1867-Mexico City, 1931) was a Mexican writer and diplomat. From his youth he dedicated most of his life to journalism, first in Guadalajara and then in Mexico City. He distinguished himself as a high-ranking diplomat during the government of Porfirio Díaz when he was named Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and, later, Plenipotentiary Minister in Guatemala. Intellectually restless, he was always present in the cultural scene in Mexico.
