About the author Magda Donato (Madrid, 1898-Mexico City, 1966) immersed in the same liberal and ferocious spirit which animated since forever her sister’s life, and without a doubt by her artistic and intellectual calling, the young Carmen Eva started to be recognized as a polemic and brilliant journalist in the El Imparcial newspaper. Her vast culture, along with a dominion of the languages she knew (English, French and German) left a footprint of important translations and versions thanks to her skills in writing.
